Position Overview:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a passion for improving processes. The AP Analyst will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and reconcile vendor statements; resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure high-volume invoices are processed with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to obtain approvals and resolve payment issues.
  • Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH, checks, wires).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Assist with month-end close tasks related to AP.
  • Support audits by providing documentation and reports.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline AP workflows and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of Accounts Payable Analysis or related accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of AP processes, three-way match, and invoice workflow.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Education Requirements:

High School diploma required.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, first shift.

Additional Details:

Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

100% in-office, close to the airport.
